North Korea conducted a joint live-fire drill on Saturday, involving missiles, artillery, and drones, according to its state media. The drill was meant to practice an integrated weapons control system. South Korea detected short-range ballistic missile launches from the Wonsan area, with missiles flying about 155 miles. The exercise came a day after the US, South Korea, and Japan concluded a trilateral military drill, which North Korea views as a provocation. This was North Korea's first public missile launch in about three weeks, and experts say the country is not slowing its testing activities.
