CD Projekt Red confirms 2028 release for The Witcher 4

In Poland, CD Projekt Red announced that The Witcher 4 is targeting a 2028 release. Michał Nowakowski, the Joint CEO, shared this update in a video ahead of Gamescom 2026. The game will feature Ciri and promises an expansive open world and deep narrative. Meanwhile, the studio will showcase the upcoming expansion for The Witcher 3, titled Songs of the Past, which is scheduled for release in 2027.
