NFL asks US Homeland Security to remove video of Brian Dawkins used in immigrant caravan post

The NFL has asked the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to remove a social media video showing highlights of Hall of Fame safety Brian Dawkins. The video, posted on Sunday, features Dawkins' pregame walkout and big hits, with a caption referencing a purported immigrant caravan. NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy confirmed the request on Monday. Dawkins, a nine-time Pro Bowler, played 16 seasons in the NFL before retiring in 2011. The DHS has not yet responded publicly.
