Preservationists fight to save Revolutionary War witness tree in South Carolina

In South Carolina, a live oak tree, known as a witness tree, is being preserved due to its historical significance from the Revolutionary War. This tree, estimated to be around 50 years old during the Battle of Eutaw Springs on September 8, 1781, witnessed a crucial engagement between British and American forces.
