India's Suchika Tariyal also secured a bronze after beating Mongolia's Altanchimeg Baigalmaa. Teo and Tariyal were scheduled to meet in the semi-finals on September 21, with the winner advancing to the final on September 22. The competition uses modified rules aimed at Olympic inclusion.
